Requirements
Prerequisites
- Passport expiration date at least 6 months after trip dates
Responsibilities
- Providers (Physicians and APP) -providing primary care consultations
- Nursing Volunteer - Triage and Nursing care
- Clinical Volunteer (ex: Pharmacy, PT, OT, Imaging, Lab, etc.) - providing care in community clinic setting
- Non-Clinical Volunteer - assisting in eye clinic or construction
Preparation
- Read through trip packet
- Begin fundraising campaign, if needed
- Visit CDC travel website for vaccine requirements
- Learn about the culture of Peru
