I have been to Peru before. So the trip that I took there in March should have been no big deal. I had already been to Lima and Juliaca, so I thought that wouldn't be life altering either. But the trip that I experienced turned out to be much more than I had bargained for.
We started our trip by flying into the capital city of Lima, Peru. My husband and I were traveling separate of the group and got to Lima first. We were able to jump into the fantastic food that Peru has to offer right away.
