We need surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR nurses, providers, RN’s, pharmacists, ultrasound techs as well as non-clinical roles. Team members of AdventHealth Mid-America Region (AHMAR) receive A $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP from the endowment fund that reduces their total cost for the trip. Prerequisites
- Passport expiration date at least 6 months after trip dates
Responsibilities
- Providers (Physicians and APP) - providing primary care consultations
- Nursing Volunteer - Triage and nursing care
- Clinical Volunteer (ex: Pharmacy, PT, OT, Imaging, Lab, etc.) - providing care in primary care setting
- Non-Clinical Volunteer - assisting in clinic operations
Preparation
- Read through trip packet
- Attend Info Session
- Learn about the culture of Peru
- Visit CDC travel website for vaccine requirements
- Begin fundraising campaign, if needed
